CAD/CAM technology has already been used in various fields, for instance engineering, automobiles, etc. Nowadays, the CAD/CAM is used widely in modern dentistry as well. The continuous progress of computer-based development can smoothen and fasten the whole digital work flow. Computer assisted surgery can have various applications in our daily practice, like virtual surgical plan, guided dental implantation, surgical guided stent, and even retrospective study of post-operative results. Our experience of CAD/CAM aided surgery is limited because of financial restrictions, therefore we present the simplicity of such application. In the future, I believe that the surgeon-orientated and computer-aided surgery will be practiced more and more easily.
